I figured out the problem yea the problem is you
You didn't see us comin' now there's nothin' you can do
He's a different color but we're the same kid
I will treat him like my brother he will treat me like his
All the blood that spills of all the guts that fly
The media paints a picture that that stings all our eyes
Pits dogs against cats now who is responsible
The power in the issue
The force is unstoppable

so here goes something new once again, i have been spending a lot of time in the woods with my thoughts and a 6-speed. i love this time of year up there, no tourists, just enthusiasts who wait for the tougher months to come in so that they have trails alone, no sounds no bugs and freezing temperatures. there have been fires this year again, several in fact. that damn car, i walk by it every day and hope and wish i had the resources to have it done tomorrow because honestly i cannot wait to be flinging it into curves on crest hoping there isn't any gravel or ice. i want to keep the cliffs on the right going up you know. school again, and i realized it's easy, just takes work. i also finally got something someone out of my mind, someone who once claimed to be my best friend gave me some advice in vain, i took it and it has been the best part of my life for the past 2+ years, so in turn thank you for the best advice i have ever gotten. this one sucked, happy new years.

SEMA and Sandy

Well that was a crazy storm i am very stoked knowing all my people back east are ok, and the ones that made it to SEMA in time were safe and I hope returning home does not present any substantial damage to their homes or places of work. Storms like sandy are really a sobering event for all people, like earth quakes, they do not care your race or financial status, if you live in the hood or in a penthouse, they come through tearing everything up that they can. The photos I have seen of damage along the north east seaboard is simply put, breathtaking, not in the beauty sense of the word but they sincerely left me at a loss for words, hundreds of millions of dollars of damage, homes and cars gone forever, and people just left in shock and awe. I would like to commend all the fire and police personnel that kept things in line. Ok, back to my reality, after receiving late notice that I'll be at SEMA on Thursday it has turned this week into a full blown shit show in both mine and Kyle's garage, his car is way close to being finished than mine will probably ever be it seems, we had an amazing road test a few weeks ago but it was done in vain as we were running it straight piped at about 3500ft above sea level, so once he is ready to try and register this thing we will have to re-tune it and all that. My m20 is coming a long nicely, but for some reason in the back of my little head I hear a voice saying 3.1, 3.1....over and over again, and I am so tempted to build that engine I have lusted after for so very long, but is it worth pushing the entire completion of the car back several months to accommodate the price and getting all the parts necessary for the build, but how does 300 reliable hp sound. Other than that I have no complaints other than ridiculous traffic lately in Los Angeles but the weather is perfect....

TAKE THAT WORLD

I figure a year is enough time to let things simmer, to let things come and go and to build one of the best things that has ever happened to me. This past year has been tough but amazing, new friends, new experiences,a new job and the same old dreams of being happy. Still hunting for the apex, building an amazing e21 but now I have someone, someone to bounce ideas off of that won't tear me down when I hiccup, someone who wants me to be the best version of myself possible. I have been working hard on getting a car rolling, and it's looking good, I'm going to take a page from my buddy Ryan and try hard to stay positive, surrounding myself with people who want the best for themselves and me. I want to be the man she deserves and the man I want to be. Take that world, I'm back.

Racing vs Life

Over the past weeks i have learned that people come and go, it's part of life as some one leaves your life there is usually someone just as important entering it. I've got a feeling my team is getting stronger and stronger, I've got people in my life now that I feel are helping me get to my ultimate goal which is be happy. Between the new friends I have acquired in the last few stints and the ones that have always been there it's gonna happen for me. I've got myself an MVP, a Vet and the rookie all playing for my team now, the same way Pat Long and Jorg Bergmiester just have a dynamic that is unfuckwithable. Mark Webber is slapping the Red Bull team around, its nice to see that young German Seb get nervous and rowdy. Ben Spies had an amazing weekend, not as good as my pal Kyle did last week, god damn Kyle 4 in a row! ok I'm bored be back later on.

Heat Wave vs. Heat Stroke

It is way too hot to live on the 3rd floor of a silly old apartment complex in East Los Angeles, but it’s better than living on the east coast the south or the OC. At least the short shorts come out, shirts get smaller and the paleta man is on heavy rotation, we get the epitome of summer here in Southern California between the 80 degree Dodger night games and the bonfires at Docweiler State Beach, drop top cruises at midnight with a t-shirt and shorts and all you have to do to believe me is hit Malibu on a Saturday in summertime and see what it’s all about. Today it was 86 at 10 am, and that is some serious heat, I’ll be hitting up my mom’s swimming hole for real. I love summer and everything it stands for except this damn heat, I simply can’t hang with it. If I was sweating my ass of in car going around willow springs or something I think I could deal, but breaking a sweat by walking from the car into the office is shitty. I was at a job site of ours in South Central Los Angeles, on 60th and Hoover go peep our school, and I was watching the local ironworkers in full welding leathers lose weight while setting up the cross members of this new amazing structure, I couldn’t help but feel bad for them. I’m torn between the perks of summertime and the perils of this dry heat, but one thing is for sure, I love this city we have here.

Mark Webber vs The Milky Way Galaxy

bruised toes, bruised knees, blistered hands and a huge smile is was a track weekend will do to your body, weak in the knees after putting one wheel in the gravel and managing to pull it without hitting that ridiculous ACR Viper or the even more intimidating wall. there is a price to pay to have a good time, and i apologize to all the good times i ruined this weekend, and more so for any disrespect that may have be a result of my actions, i love you homie....but back to the track stuff, so Mark Webber was told on Friday by red bull racing he is their number 2 driver behind the young phenom Sebastian Vettel, and thus Seb was missing a part of his car and they took it from Mark and let him run it...Mark goes on to win the British Gran Prix the has a transmission with his team a log the lines of this Mark: "not bad for a number 2 driver huh?"...Team Principal: "yeah maybe we can get a smile out of you now" I mean shit even if i was running like the Virgins or SRT I'd have a retarded smile on 24/7 but i guess it goes to show some people only want that number 1 spot. Kamui has been steadily improving his skills finishing in points for Sauber 2 races in a row. There was an ALMS race this weekend too, Highcroft got the LMP win, and Rizi got the GT win which put them about 3 points ahead of my boys at Flying Lizard Motorsports, but there are still plenty of races this season. Formula D went to Tanner Foust of Speed Channel fame, my boys Ken Gushi and Chris Forsberg went out in the "great 8" and Ryan "hampshaa" Tuerck went to the finals but was defeated by Tanner....tough weekend i know. so if going fast is your thing talk to me, i'll be at the Vegas, Infinion and Irwindale events. to the winners of the weekend more power to you, and to the rest of us, get some new tires, new wipers, new methods of overtaking and of course more food. being number 2 doesnt make you a loser, just ask Mark Webber.
